distracted and new information.

Sorry, I wasn't blogging often enough here. I was busy on my OTHER blog- The Lady Wolf. I am trying to make it much, much more interesting to attract followers and see how far it can get off the ground.

As for my weight loss-- I think it stalled!!! Aughh...I don't eat that much junk anymore! Maybe it's muscles... (winks)

My friend told me that her weight was gaining FAST for no reason, so she had her thyroid tested, and it came back normal. So she had her blood tested, and showed that she's realllllly low in vitamin D, and doctor told her that vitamin D is VERY important role in weight stablizer/ weight loss. That's why they are pushing the "Drink Milk, Lose Weight" ads-- calicum also needs to be there for vitamin D to work. You can't just take vitamin D and no calicum. Also, vitamin D/calicum helps strengthen your bones. In a magazine, said most women aren't getting enough vitamin D AND calicum.

Interesting, isn't it? I might buy some vitamin D capsules and Tums, and see how it goes for a week.

A little fun tidbit!

A Little Known Fact:

The first testicular guard cup was used in hockey in 1874.

The first helmet was used in 1974.

It took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

Poor Trigger.
Last Friday, I cleaned the whole house. Put the kids down for a nap. After a good hard work, I plopped down on the couch to rest. And right in front of me, Trigger peed on the carpet!

But.... her pee was red. Wait.. Shouldn't pee be yellow? I quickly took her outside and she peed some more and it was port red. Hmm so, I texted my husband, he came home and took Trigger to the vet immediately.

She has UTI. Ugh... Poor thing. And also the vet found a hard lump on top of her head (nope, its not her brain!), so today, she went BACK to the vet to get a biopsy. She now have stitches on top of her head.

Right now, she's loopy and out of it. Half asleep all evening.

As for my weight loss -- It's going slower. I lost 4 pounds... I am losing, which is in a good direction! I don't want to lose too much too early. 2 pounds per week is perfect for me. So, that means 8 pounds per month, that's a lot, I think. If I continue this, I will reach my goal target in about October. No, I'm not gonna tell you how much I weigh!

I might post before/after photos.

And also, we just found a new favorite show on TV, on the History Channel.
It's called "Pawn Stars" and wow, its soooooooooo interesting. You oughta watch it sometime. It's almost like Antique Roadshow but its a reality show when people come in their pawn shop and see if their stuff is really worth anything. Some fake, and the guy on there reminds me a lot like ummm whats his name? Shoot... It's on the tip of my tongue! He's from Die Hard, Sixth Sense, etc... Bald. BRUCE WILLIS!!! A little bit...

Ok, I oughta go to bed.

Day....10? 11?

I lost track of how many days I've been "dieting". Felt like 8 weeks already. Ha.

I did pretty good today. Did some workout and serious house cleaning. Ate healthy. And in small amounts.

My laptop broke so I'm now in grieving. Because for the last 6 weeks, I've been distracting myself by throwing in playing and learning some new computer program and experimenting with my Cricut machine. Now I can't do that. What can I do? When I am not busy, I get bored too easily and eat. I really do eat when I'm bored. My hands need to be busy!!!

Really really not a good weekend. Bleech.

Woke up Saturday morning sick as a dog. I tol Jon he has to watch the girls and I crawled back to bed and slept more than half the day away. Woke up at around 3:00 PM and was starving. Needless to say, I couldn't eat as healthy as I wanted to.

And now today's Sunday. My parents came! Jon's parents came! We had a small Superbowl party with lots of junk food. (sighs)

Tomorrow WILL be better. Just two lousy days. And also, tomorrow will be my 1 week mark. I will post how much I lost (or gained). Stay tuned.

Day three/four;
Did I forget to blog yesterday? I was busy being sick. Yup- a full blown cold. I didn't do squat. I felt horrible. I didn't eat much. By night time, I was STARVING! I had had had to eat something. I ended up having cereal. Hey, better than oooh 3 candy bars.

I'm feeling better today. I cleaned house (good workout!) and still didn't eat much. I'm still HUNGRY.

(sighs) but I did distract myself by doing Abby's Valentine Day "cards." She just went back to preschool, and the Valentine Day party is next Thursday. I think she has 10 classmates.

"Cards" is paper flowers with a lollipop in the center. Let's see if I can take a quick snapshot....

Aren't they cute?!? The cricut sure saved me lots of time. I wouldn't want to cut or punch out 60 hearts. It's hard to see but the inner heart has scalloped edges.

Oh, I want to share a goofy pic of Abby and my fake lighted up candles. (no persons or pets were harmed in this picture)

Off to bed I go.

Day two

Day two:
Toooo sore to exercise! I am surprised I haven't gotten a Charlie horse in my leg. But it feels quite close!

I took it easy today. I will exercise tomorrow.

Breakfast was same as yesterday.

Lunch was chopped celery, chopped granny smith apple and walnuts mixed with little mayo. It was yummy but Abby's peanut butter sandwich looked better.

Dinner was teryaki pork with salad.

That's all for now.

Day one

Day one:
I went up and down the stairs 10 times, played with Wii Fit Plus for half an hour before Abby kicked me off. Ate scrambled eggs and glugged V8 (bleech).

Took a shower and we all went around the block.

For lunch I had low fat cream cheese stuffed celery stalks. A cheese stick and a nice spoonful of peanut butter. Yum. I wasn't that hungry.

Dinner-- had beef & broccoli stirfry (no rice).

My biggest concern is nighttime. It's when I tend to be VERY hungry!

And for exercise-- I will abide this motto I just heard and is very helpful.

"Do your best and forget the rest."

So what, if I can only have 15 minutes to exercise?it's better than n-o-t-h-i-n-g. And if I can only last 2 sit-ups? Phht there's always tomorrow.

Baby steps up a gigantic mountain.
